Advantages of carbon steel plate:
1. After heat treatment, the hardness and wear resistance can be improved.
2. The hardness during annealing is appropriate and the machinability is good.
3. Its raw materials are very common, so it is easy to find, so the production cost is not high.
Disadvantages of carbon steel plate:
1. Poor thermal hardness. When used as tool material, the hardness and wear resistance will deteriorate when the temperature exceeds 200 degrees.
2. The hardenability is not good, and the diameter is usually maintained at 15 to 18 mm when water quenched, but the diameter and thickness are usually 6 mm when not quenched, so it is easy to deform or crack.
